Admiral

West Seattle’s pride and joy is the Admiral neighborhood. It’s a combination of beautiful homes, hip businesses and unique culture.  Admiral is comprised of residents who care about the environmental, economics, and social sustainability of the neighborhood. Alki

If you enjoy walking on the beach while staring at amazing views of Seattle and its amazing landscape, then Alki is the perfect place for you.  This is as close to living in beachy paradise as it gets.  Alki has a very relaxing feeling. Locals covet the beachfront condos and the place is packed during the summer for beach volleyball tournaments, picnics and other activities.

Genesee / Junction

A small and quiet residential area near shopping and entertainment and often referred to as “The Junction”, the Genesee neighborhood of West Seattle is not to be confused with Genesee Park in Rainier Valley. The Junction is a very popular destination area for residents and visitors seeking dining, shopping and fun.

Fauntleroy

Fauntleroy is an area in West Seattle that is secluded and quiet, with incredible views of nearby islands and the Olympic Mountains. Located near the ferry terminal, it’s the perfect location for those wanting quick and convenient weekend getaway the Olympic peninsula. Residents here meticulously work to preserve this environment and it shows, the pristine waterfront and views from here are simply breath-taking

Westwood

Named because of the areas huge Elm and Maple trees, but Westwood’s main attraction is its 24-acre, 400,000 square feet retail shopping center called Westwood Village.  With the Ferry terminal just down the hill, connecting Vashon Island and Southworth, this is a very popular destination for locals.

Gatewood

The tidy and quiet neighborhood west of 35^th is aptly called Gatewood. This is mostly an area of single family homes but there are ample apartments and condos, some new, some old.  Surrounding Gatewood are great restaurants, shopping.  Many homes in this community have spectacular vista views of Puget Sound and the mountain peaks.

Seaview

The Seaview neighborhood was named for its extensive Puget Sound shoreline. It’s a quiet neighborhood, comprising mostly single-family homes and condos. The waterfront properties are in high demand here. The community offers peace and quiet with incredible views of the mountain peaks and the beautiful Puget sound.
